Every process can be improved.

Over my 15-plus years in marketing and communications, I've gained considerable experience in project management—a facet of my work that I find truly enjoyable. While my creative side revels in thinking outside the box and adapting to changing scenarios, I also have a strong appreciation for tasks with clearly defined parameters, from start to finish. The drive to accomplish goals fuels my commitment to seeing projects through to completion. Efficiency is another aspect I value, and in every role I've undertaken, I've consistently sought ways to enhance and streamline processes. This commitment has led me to dedicate my time and skills to numerous projects aimed at improving aspects within organizations that needed refinement.

Just a few of the tops projects…

Launching a new innovation platform

In 2013, I played a key role in the design and introduction of a new innovation system at Greif. This initiative aimed to transform ideas into products and services, providing a competitive edge through customer value creation. The platform adopted a stage gate approach and involved innovation catalysts from each business unit. These catalysts identified potential offerings for evaluation by the global innovation steering committee. Every employee within the company was assigned a role in contributing to this initiative. To roll out the new platform throughout the business, we organized multiple innovation days along with specialized training sessions on how to effectively utilize the system.

Developing a new sample request system

In 2016, I designed and implemented a new, fully automated customer sample request system at ABITEC. The previous system was manual, lacked user-friendliness, was inefficient, and lacked crucial communication with the customer. The research phase of this project was crucial, focusing not only on internal efficiency improvements but also on providing customers with a significantly enhanced experience. This involved a comprehensive understanding of the existing process from various perspectives, identifying gaps that required attention. Samples played a crucial role in converting leads to business for ABITEC, making it a pivotal moment in the customer's journey that demanded prioritization.

Implementing a new CRM

In 2021, I collaborated in leading the integration of a new CRM system at ABITEC. Given our smaller company size, it was imperative that the CRM implementation didn't alter our culture and didn't hinder the sales team's efficiency. The priority was to have a user-friendly system that enhanced organizational efficiency, providing tools and data for monitoring and tracking progress. While Salesforce is a widely used CRM across various organizations, our choice was not merely due to its popularity. We selected it because it aligned with all our expectations and could be customized to suit our business needs without disrupting our established processes. Following the system's implementation, my role involved training, supporting, and administering the system for the organization.
